1 Abstract The topic of the thesis is the issue of the new legislation on waste management. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse and critically examine the changes that have taken place in the permitting of waste management facilities following the adoption of the waste management legislative package that came into force on 1st January 2021. After an introduction, the thesis provides an overview of the basic legal concepts of the Act on Waste with a description of their relevance to the waste management industry. This is followed by a discussion of the various permits issued under the Waste Act. Legal limits of the cross-border movement of military materials
Matocha, Jakub ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee)
Legal limits of the cross-border movement of military materials The global trade with military materials is an important, however often under- researched, area of academic enquiry. Such attitude is not correct, because in fact it is a massive global industry in which also Czech companies play a significant role. Given the newspaper headlines and statements of arms dealer, it is obvious there have long been unsolved problems burdening arms dealers caused especially by an inappropriate legal framework. This theses aims to provide an analysis of legal framework in respect to cross-border movement of military materials covering especially European and Czech legislation focusing on its potential limits arising and important for arms dealers. On a global international level the Arms Trade Treaty and other relevant treaties regulating international trade with military materials are identified and described. Attention is also paid to limitations of arms trade such as embargoes or restrictive measures imposed by the UN and the EU respectively as well as to limitations resulting from domestic and European legislation or from its different interpretation. In view of different legal framework this thesis strictly distinguishes whether a movement is realized, while particular law is adequately reflected. There...

Mourek, Karel ; Staša, Josef (advisor) ; Svoboda, Petr (referee)
Objections in planning permission proceeding and building permit proceeding Abstract The thesis focuses on objections as a key institute by which participants can defend their rights in the planning permission proceedings and building permit proceedings - the objections. The aim of the thesis is to map this institute both in terms of its procedural use and in terms of the facts that the participants in the proceedings apply in these objections. The author of the thesis does so due to the fact that no professional literature deals directly with this topic. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part briefly describes the basic principles and mechanisms of planning permission proceeding and building permit proceeding, which are key for a proper understanding of the meaning of objections. The second part briefly describes the history of objections in the legislation from the second half of the nineteenth century to the present and the third part explains the concept of objections from the perspective of administrative law and construction law. The main content of the thesis is then in the fourth and fifth part. In these parts, the institute of objections is described first in the planning permission proceedings and then in the building permit proceedings. It describes in detail who is entitled to...

It analyses changes of 1992 Nature and Landscape Protection Act in its part of general woody plants protection as well as following delegated legislation from 1992 to present times. It also concerns impact of above mentioned legislation on the owner of the woody plant and the public authority from the administrative difficulty and effectiveness point of view. It describes differences in the authorisation procedures of woody plants felling in the cases where there is special interest (e.g. woody plants nearby transmission lines, watercourses), and in the cases of woody plants at real estate under Heritage Preservation Act. This bachelor thesis also mentions issues emanating from conflict of protective provisions in 1992 Nature and landscape protection act and ownership protection in Civil Code.
